No one is stopping anyone from posting about "private" address successes, but they don't belong in the Feedback forum which is where others come to see what addresses have been tested and have had success or failure. That's why they would end up in the Trash

Hmmm interesting topic!

A friend and I have sent to one address recently and neither of us has heard back. I tried to my letter keep it short and sweet, in hopes that they would realize I mean no harm and I would be very happy to get a reply. However, I didn't make any notes about not sharing the address and so forth, partially because I thought it might be awkward or out of nowhere. Would I if I had been in less of a crazy/excited rush to send out my request? Maybe. But either way, I don't plan on posting it anywhere.

So....am I expecting something back? Not really. Am I still hoping? Yes, of course. But I fully respect their decision, whether a) they (or someone who works for them) tossed it right into the trash, b) read the letter and kept what I sent, c) want to send back but haven't yet or d) if the address was wrong altogether and the recipients had fun messing around with my stuff. That's fair.

Also, sending once (maybe twice) with correct materials, polite letter & the intent not to share the address, is not stalkerish imo. I see it as a genuine fan making an effort and taking a leap of faith, so that they can possibly get a reply from someone that is more difficult to reach by other means. Mailing gifts or trying to visit them at their house, that I would definitely not recommend!

I guess it just depends who finds this kind of information. I mean, I have another address, for one of my most wanted, that I'm almost completely sure is correct. But I'd rather try them via venue (perhaps more than once) and maybe TTM again. Use of the first address has been too emotionally difficult and I don't like it. lol

As many celebs that say "I love getting fanmail, ECT" see how many well KNOWN celebs do PP's and fakes? They are ALREADY annoyed by the Via agency fan mail...SELENA, JUSTIN, ROBIN, JOHN, SNOOKI, ect...It's not because of the home addresses thing. It's because they don't enjoy getting fan mail. So you should be a negative Nancy somewhere else, J/K {up}

The addresses are for some of my most wanted! :D
I already have tried VV and TTM, with no success. I might try the addresses, I am 90% sure they belong to the people. I won't give the address out, other then possibly my best friend. After I try, of course. I like the idea of keep it short and sweet, I have some nice stationary I plan on using.

Dancinggirl1, lol. Remember it's there opinion though, but I think I'm going to send one. xD

I dont think its invasion of privacy. Paparazzi following them every time they set foot 3 inches out of their driveway/restaurant/car is invasion of privacy and stalking. If an address is found online that is "private", it cant be that private. Some may take it as annoying, some may take it as this must be a true fan cause they did a bit of research. Especially seeing it come from somewhere else in the world (Im pretty much the opposite side of the country as hollywood, probably not gonna take a 21 year old from NY as a stalker).

Ive tried some, had 1 great success which I got grilled for here and thread deleted, had an athlete sign for me via private, and then ive had an RTS, and a no answer. If I get a no answer then I just move on and try something else.

Sending 6 letters to the home would be a bit much.

Last, I ALWAYS put that letters back or personalizations are welcomed. This I believe puts their trust in you your not in it for a quick sig to sell also. Knowing a true fan wants to get their support out there to reach you and not a scum company I believe helps A LOT.

When we get letters from credit card companies (or me with these letters about jobs for students) I dont consider it invading my privacy, I simply toss em and move on with life. If my letter is RTS'ed take the same pic and letter and send it elsewhere. Theyll move on like you.
