hello,

I would like to bring up though that celebrities will eventully stop signing because people are selling autographs on E Bay. So be careful! I've personally thought of selling mine, but if I did, it would be for charity. Just my opinion!

My thoughts exactly

Like our friend above said, the prices most authentics reach on eBay is much lower than their true worth due to all the fakes on the market. The problem this gives us though is that the actual value then becomes irrelevent :?

To show you what I mean, I have a few really "valuable" authentic autos in my charity collection, such as one from Elton John. The list price for his auto can be anywhere from £250 to £450. When I held my first charity auction on eBay just before Christmas, my Elton auto raised bids f barely £80 :?

I didn't sell it obviously, but my only option now is to put it (and some of my others) into a specialist auction and hope for the best :?

Just my thoughts!!!

I TOTALLY agree with Ian! The hardest thing is if you wanna sell something for CHARITY and you price it for "big bucks" people might think it's fake and not buy it! That's why people might not sign, because if they choose to sign people might fake it, and so when the $$ really goes to charity it dosen't sell very well.
I hope this makes sense, as even I have problems reading and following along with it

I would never sell any of my autographs. I just wanted to know the value of my collection. Thank you so much for your help The_Terrible_Toad_King.

i think value is different for each person

for example, i have an autograph and letter from victoria justice

she's not huge, but i wouldnt give that up for the world because i LOVE victoria justice

my first autograph was a tobey maguire preprint. even though its fake, it was my first so i'd never give it up
