Hi,
Has anyone had a success with a VV film when writing directly to the production office? With all the VV successes I've had, I don't recall ever sending to a production office.

I received a success recently from a production office. Whether or not I send to one just depends what I find in my research...sometimes if I can't figure out where they might be filming exactly, I'll try the office. But eh, so far I've had more failures (mostly no response) with VV than successes.

Thanks for your post. I feel the same about the VV success to failure ratio, that's why I never send anything I'm too attached to.

I think it also depends on the production office you send to.
for instance CBGB had a local production office in Georgia, and successes came from requests sent to that office.
But if the movie is filming on the east coast, and the production office is on the west coast... you are probably just as out of luck.
I know there is a very big movie filming now that if you send to their local production office, they will be forwarding fanmail until the set tells them to stop.
So it really varies.

Thanks for responding. Normally I wouldn't bother if I were unsure, but this is one of my most wanted so I'll give it a shot. You never know!
