Hi, :)

What are your favorite autograph(s) from a deceased celebrity you admire?

Here's my collection of favorites:
1.) The Golden Girl cast (TTM) (excluding Estelle Getty; Betty White is alive, thankfully) http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/51 ... irls1.jpg/
(TTM) Bea Arthur http://imageshack.us/a/img221/4875/beaarthur1.jpg
(TTM) Rue McClanahan http://imageshack.us/a/img138/2420/ruemcclanahan1.jpg
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/41 ... ahan3.jpg/
2.) Phyllis Diller (TTM) http://imageshack.us/a/img11/1692/phyllisdiller.jpg
3.) Dom DeLouise (TTM) http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/16 ... uise1.jpg/
4.) Leslie Nielsen http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/26 ... lsen1.jpg/

I tried getting Elizabeth Taylor (as she is one of my favorite actresses) but she passed before I could get an authentic one. I got an auto-pen and a pre-print. Still nice to have though to remember her by.

Thank you and I look forward to reading future posts/responses! Have a nice day.

Sincerely,

gghi18 :)

Wow! Vincent Price?! That's awesome. That is a shame, though, about Bette Davis. She was an amazing actress! I loved "What ever happened to baby Jane?"

Me too, it's one of my favorite of her films.

Vincent Price was my first ever TTM success!

This is a really interesting topic so I'm hoping to start it up again by adding to it.

I started collecting way back in around 2000 so have a good number of signed pics from people who are sadly no longer with us. Thought I'd share a few on here:

Tony Curtis: http://carlscelebritysignedpics.blogspo ... urtis.html
Lauren Bacall: http://carlscelebritysignedpics.blogspo ... largo.html
Barry Foster: http://carlscelebritysignedpics.blogspo ... largo.html
Rik Mayall: http://carlscelebritysignedpics.blogspo ... -dead.html
Spike Milligan: http://carlscelebritysignedpics.blogspo ... ow-q9.html
Michael Sheard: http://carlscelebritysignedpics.blogspo ... r-who.html
Eric Sykes: http://carlscelebritysignedpics.blogspo ... plank.html
Ingrid Pitt: http://carlscelebritysignedpics.blogspo ... acula.html

Anyone else got any interesting pics to share?

Robin Williams, Joan Rivers and Leslie Nielson, also previously owned one Brittany Murphy but as somebody already said, it had to be sold when times are tough.

Envious of the first three doctors, Hartnell, Troughton and Pertwee and not to forget Peter Cushing who also played Doctor Who twice. Vincent Price also another great actor.

I was able to get the great Stan Musial TTM. Also Ralph Kiner twice (once TTM and once IP), Phil Rizzuto, Don Zimmer, Hideki Irabu, Casey Kasem, Pete Seeger, HOF Bills founder and owner Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. (Had three gave one away to a friend), Joan Rivers, "Bullet Bob" Turley (1958 Cy Young and World Series MVP-have 2), SNL announcer Don Pardo, Gary Carter, Earl Weaver, Johnny Podres, and George M. Steinbrenner III (Yankees owner).

In 2005 I received a personalized autographed picture of Kevin Hagen who was Doc Baker on Little House on the Prairie. He died a few days after I received it.
