I saw something on Pinterest that if you send a wedding announcement to the White House, you would get a congratulatory card back from the President and First Lady. So I decided to send one of my college graduation announcements to the White House, but didn't think that I would get anything back. It only took about a week or two and I had a letter in the mail from Obama. The letter only said "Dear Graduate," but hey, it's more than any of my fellow graduates got!

Awesome, was it hand written? did he sign it?

I know if you send a birth announcement they will also send you a congratulations card autographed. I got one in 2005 from President & Mrs. Bush. It was very cute.
