With 2012 ending tomorrow, thought it would be fun to look back at our 10 favorite autographs that we received. Get someone you've wanted for ages? Get a super response that blew your mind? Share!

Mine:
1. Eric Loomis - all the actors I wrote to who voiced characters in Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes have been super nice with responses, but Mr. Loomis took the cake. Signed 2 Iron Man trading cards for me and sent a 1 1/2 page handwritten letter.

2. Malachi Throne - one of the last surviving Batman villains who I always wanted. Signed two False-Face printouts for me.

3. Robert Vaughn - second try was the charm. Though he signed 1 of the 2 pics I sent, I am thrilled to finally have him.

4. Louise Jameson - after a 2+ year wait, finally got my items signed, plus a picture of her own. She was nice enough to write a letter to me on the back of her photo. A genuine surprise!

5. Freema Agyeman - Doctor Who's Martha Jones. Sent 2 signed postcards.

6. Edward Herrmann - one of my favorite character actors, another actor I've wanted for ages. Very nice inscriptions.

7. Roger Corman - a horror/sci-fi legend. Signed two movie poster printouts for me.

8. Lex Lang - Dr. Doom in the Avengers cartoon; sent a photo of his own (in addition to the printout I sent), and a short note.

9. Tom Kane - Ultron in Avengers; sent 2 additional photos.

10. Steve Blum - Red Skull in Avengers (see what I mean? great guys!); signed 2 Skull trading cards and sent a short post-it note thanking me for writing.

middle of 2011 i started collecting but it wasn't till 2012 till i became pretty good at this. so i will share my top 10:
1) director /writer "Horror Legend"; Wes Craven: this is my top for the year even thought it came at the end of this year. in my LOR i mentioned my mother was also a fan and how i lost her years ago. along with the pics i sent he included a not that read: When i get to Heaven, I will look up your mother and tell her, what a great son she has". -Wes Craven".
2) Pro Wrestling Legend and hall of Fame member; Bret "The Hit man" Hart: i sent him a LOR, SASE, and 3 pics to his address in Canada in March (right a round my birthday) not thinking i put US stamps on the return envelope. in July of this year was RAW's 1,000 episode, in the USA. it was also the day he sent ALL 3 pics back signed and personalized. that would mean he brought my pics and envelope from march with him into the US in July just so i could get his autograph. this made me happy and showed how much he truly valued my being a fan and supporter.
3)Figure Skater; Scott Hamilton: due to the fact i sent it in October of 2011 and received it in September of 2012. this gave me hope that i might get some others later too.
4) comedian / Actor; David Spade: since he Rarely signs TTM and he has my sense of humor.
5) Writer/ Director/actor Creator of "ALF"; Paul Fusco due to the fact the show was so much of my childhood, and brought such joy into my dark world. not only did he sign his name but he also signed one as ALF too, how many people can say they have "the real" ALF's Autograph.
6) Seth, Amy, Les Gold & Rich; from my one my favorite TV shows "Hardcore Pawn".
7) Internet Singing sensation and personal Friend; Jordan Jensen: we have been writing and supporting each other in both our fields of Entertainment for years. and he sent me 4 autographed pics and a Christmas Card personalized where he included himself as my fellow F4L (Friends +Fans=Family 4 Life). it was really cool way to end my 2012
Comic Legend & chef of the Fashion Police; Joan Rivers: this was my 1st success Via Email, and she was really nice about it. and personalized a pic just for me.
9) Film Legend and the man who put "Oliver" on the map; Mark Lester: I sent Mark Lester a LOR, 3 Pics and a SAE along with some money for postage. he sent all 3 pic singed paid the postage and Sent me back my money. i thought this was really cool of him.
10) Channel 7 news WHDH news Boston Chief Meteotoligist (Weather Man) Pete Bouchard: he is the man that me friends and family watch and trust with our weather. he is pretty funny too. i sent him an Email and not only did he send me the email but he took the time to email me back. and even answered my questions about the weather in New york for my trip i took back in October to New York Comic Con. (My 1st Convention as a collector).
so this is my list a little long but i wanted to share why these are my top of 2012. i hope to have more stories to share in 2013.
