Does the size of the envelope matter?

Hi,
I sent to Florence Henderson and Ann B Davis about a month ago in a 9x12 envelope. Most successes from them have taken about 20-25 days and I am past that. I was wondering if the envelope was to big and it didnt even get to them. Or could it be becuase of the holidays?
I appreciate your help.

Sometimes the size matters. If you do some research, you might be able to figure out what size pictures they send.
But if you send something, then you know what size envelope you'll need.

I got a Melissa Joan Hart auto in my 8X6 envelope and it was folded in half
i got a Peyotn List autograph and she provided a smaller pic for my envelope
Most disney stars provide 8x10 pics
British Soaps (Eastenders, corrie ect) provide 6X4 pics
it does matter sometimes so as the other user said do some reaserch before sending

I sent an 8x10 picture to each of them and I put them in a 9x12 envelope and my SASE is 8.5x11. Should that be fine?

I am picky with the size of photos that I send. I love 8x10's so I use 9x12 envelopes.
Yes size does matter ESP if you don't want them to fold it and ruin it.
