Hmmm...drumsticks...

Unread post by starreyes »

I was just wondering, do you think if I sent Ringo Starr one of my drumsticks I would have a chance of getting it back signed? I know he signs people's pictures that they send him, and since I play the drums it would be amazing to have a drumstick signed by him...but I don't think I would be able to play with it, just like I can't play with my Maroon 5 guitar picks. Still, it would be cool, if anyone thinks I can pull it off. What do you think?

Thanks ozzman! That would be a drummer's dream come true! I'm gonna go for it, I just need to get some drumsticks that aren't completely banged up from me drumming on things that aren't supposed to be drummed on... :lol: Plus being a HUGE Beatles fan it would be pretty cool too...

That's a really good idea starreyes {up}

However, you've got to take into account the postage (both to Ringo, and back to you) and the fact that you should only send things that you can afford to lose. If you don't want to lose a set of drumsticks, don't send it. However, if you do ... go ahead. Just don't be dissapointed if you never see them again.

It may cost you a bit to send it, but if you get it back signed, that would be really great :P

Also, mention that it is for your own personal use, otherwise he might think that you want to sell them {up}

:) I'll have to send quite a few IRC's to get it back!!!!! Wow, I hadn't considered how much that would cost, I was just thinking about the amount in US stamps, not IRC's

That's a good idea about mentioning that they're for personal use London Bombings Charity! I probably wouldn't have thought of that.
