Hi noob1, welcome to the forum! I think I might be able to help with a few of your questions.

1. It depends what you mean by 'denys'. If you mean it gets sent back to you then yes, you do get your IRC's back, if you mean they refuse to sign it then you probably won't get your IRC's back.

2. You won't need to send any IRC's since you live in Canada, if I understood you right. You will need to send at least a self addressed envelope, if not a self addressed stamped envelope.

3. There haven't been any reported successes from Shawnee Smith, but that doesn't mean nobody has gotten anything back. It's always worth a try, here is the link to her info: http://www.fanmail.biz/28726.html

4. You can inclued a pic if you want, but celeb's usualy have their own pics they can send you. If there is a particular picture you want signed they sure, send it! But it's not like you can't send the letter if you don't have a picture. I'm sure they will be able to find something to sign! :)

5. If you have an email address for them go ahead! Many celebrities will send you autographs if you send them an email, but some may not, so be willing to still send a letter if they say no.

I hope this has helped some, but if you have any more questions feel free to ask! :P

Then you will need IRC's. You probably won't need more than 2 or so, but I would ask someone who lives in Canada to help you with that since they are more familiar with the postage. Or you could just ask someone in your post office.

Hi noob1! Welcome to the forums!

1)if the person i send it to denys it will i still get my irc`s back?

If they send a letter saying they don't send autographs, you may get them back, but if they never respond at all, you probably won't.

2)while reading the instructions it said if i dont live in canada to put 7 irc can i put less since i live in canada there $3.50 each!! (I'm not good with IRC's  , but I agree with starreyes {up} !)

3)has anyone tryed getting shawnee smith`s autograph (from becker and saw)?

Even though there have been no successes yet, I would still send a request with a SASE and maybe a photo for her to sign. I have received (and have seen many people receive) autographs from stars who have no feedback reported until someone posts the first one.

4)do i need to include a pic for them to sign or do they give me one with the autograph?

I usually send photos, but celebs will usually sign a headshot for you. If you are looking for a particualr picture for them to sign, I usually do google image and search for large or wallpaper sized photos.

5)can i email them telling them if they can send me an autograph by mail?

Some celebrites send autographs if you email them, but be ESPECIALLY cautious while sending emails (I usually make sure the celeb has responded to others before I email them) because with the internet, you never know who gets or reads your emails, so it may be unsafe to send your address if you aren't sure if it's really the celebs' email (the ones in the database are safe :D, I usually stick with those. )

Hope I helped!

Hi noob1

Welcome to the forum! I'll try to answer your questions too - even though others have already answered some.

1. When you mean "deny" - do you mean as if you sent it to the wrong address and they return the envelope back to you (i.e. Return to Sender?) If so, they should return your envelope with the contents inside. However, if you send it to someone and they don't normally sign, you may not get anything back at all.

2. You never need to send 7 IRC's - that's a bit excessive. If you're sending to the US with a large 9x12 self-addressed envelope, use 2 IRC's (3 to be safe.) If you're sending within Canada, just stick enough stamps on the envelope to have the self addressed envelope returned back to you.

3. There have been no reported successes from Shawnee Smith on this forum, but it doesn't hurt to try. Give it a go, you may be lucky {up}

4. You won't need to send your own picture unless you want to. They will most likely happily supply one providing you include a self addressed envelope with enough postage (stamps or IRC's) to have it sent back to you.

5. Not everyone accepts requests by email. You can try if you wish, but I would advise not giving out your address unless the address is known and tested.

Good luck!
