I don't know if this topic is already started someplace else or not.

I think this might be an interesting thread to start. This is to help our fellow collector's convention needs. I know all to well that you can't make it to every show. I live in MS, try finding something here. So here list if you're going to a show and want to help fellow collector's or if you need help from a particular show.

Lets also be sensible about this. Please be up front about what you are willing to take or pick up. Don't be ashamed to say you have to much and can't take no more. And by all means pay your helper up front.

Hey what a great idea!!! I was thinking the same thing but was going to post it sooner to when I was going to comic con. I will be attending Comic Con in San Diego for all 4 days. They do not have their entire guest list yet but when they do I will post it and if anyone wants anything they can let me know. I have gone for the past five years and it is a great place to get autographs. They almost always have people for Buffy their as well. Some of the celebrities they have are harder to get autographs from then others though.

I went to the Sci Fi Expo over the weekend and had a blast. Scored autographs from all actors in attendance.

It sounds like an interesting idea, but I would just urge you use caution with giving out your personal details / address etc.

I totally understand the benefits of such a scheme, but if you do decide to do it then it would have to be an agreement between individuals who are of an "appropriate age".

There are several things you have to be cautious of, such as items going missing in the post etc. By agreeing to take somebody elses item to an expo for them you might also legally be responsible for its safe keeping. If it gets lost on the mail on the way back to its owner then you could well be legally liable.

Just be careful . . . . . Any such arrangement will be outside of the control of Fanmail.biz, its Moderators, and Admins.
