Valuing my signed photos

Unread post by spellbound »

Hey I use to come on here all the time from 2006 to 2011 and absolutely loved building on my collection of signed photos. However now i'm in a situation where I really need start up money for a business and can't help but wonder what my collection is worth.
Some I won't sell but there are about a 100 I would. Anyone any idea what these would be worth?

An A3 poster signed by Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Monique Coleman, Lucas Grabeel, Olesya Rulin. I got this in person so know its genuinly authentic, I went to a signing in Oxford Street in the promotion of HSM 2. I've seen zacs and vanessas go seperately on ebay for around £70 but is this realistic? Would this be worth more than that?

I have two JKR signed photos which I believe to be geniune. One is slightly smudged on the autograph which I think will assure people it's genuine and not a print. I won't sell both because they mean the world to me but how much would one be worth? I also got some bookmarks and things from jkr with a standard letter and FAQ so shows it was from her.

I have 40 eastenders cast signed photos but im assuming these are not worth very much? Maybe better of selling as a collection? Mainly older cast ones.

How much am I likely to get for people like Richard Griffiths, Rob Pattinson, Keira Knightly.

Also do people buy them if personalised?

Thanks for any assistance! I don't want to sell my photos for the sake of it but if any are worth something then it makes sense too. I have over 200, all on my website http://rosiesautos.webs.com/

It's tough to say, but the best way is to go on ebay and search for each under the completed listings tab to see what they've sold for.

It's hard to say exactly how much you'd get for those celebs, but I think you would make more $$ if you sold them individually rather than as a lot.

Also, people do occasionally buy personalized autos (i.e. "To Joe"), but they usually sell for less than the non-personalized ones (unless you happen to sell to someone with the same name as you). If it's an inscription (i.e. "HOF '67"), it would probably sell for more than those not inscribed.

To echo the previous poster, eBay completed listings is probably your best bet to determine current market value. Good luck!

Eastenders autographs aren't that high a value, depending on who you've got. Who you care to post a list? Depending on who they are you are probably best to auction them off a whole lot or a couple of lots rather than separately.

In fact, I have just looked at your website and the Steve McFadden autograph you have I reckon could go for £10 - £15 on it's own.
