Your opinion on sending fanmail to celebrities' hotel?

Just wondering what your opinions are on sending fan mail to celebrities via the hotel they are staying at while filming, etc. Is this ok or an invasion of privacy?

The Cleveland Browns aren’t exactly a “celebrity,†but this response is so amazing that it deserves to be included.
