I am new to requesting autographs and I am just wondering how many (what percentage) of the ones you send out do you actually get signed.

It depends on several things:

1st: who you write-a listers hardly respond

2nd: what address you use.

Many people really care about their fans and love to respond. Others are too busy or get too much mail to respond (they still care about fans too but it's hard to tell TTM).

We might try to predict how many or who will respond but nothing is guaranteed.

Research through this website and others to see if the persons you want to write have recorded. Then just write people you like!

I'd say that, if you're realistic, you could easily hit a 50%+ success rate. As previously mentioned though, research who you're sending to. My favourite actor is Michael J. Fox. I've never written to him as I know he won't reply.
