Had 2 photos previously signed by Peter Ostrum and sent to Gene Wilders Scofieldtown Rd addy.............both came back rubber stamped and one was smudged to add insult to injury..........don't have time to post pictures just letting everyone know that he good days of Mr Wilder signing may be coming to an end.

It's been happening for the past two days to people on other sites. He's even putting stamps on his own book. This isn't a good sign but I'm not shocked considering all the requests he gets.

Exactly. I have warned people of this but no one believed me. People were sending multiple photos multiple times and that's probably why. That's why Chevy Chase stopped. I never got his signature because now he only does auto-pen. Luckily I did get Gene's though.

Gene probably got tired of it. I got him a couple years ago when his home address was first available

That's why I no longer post successes from private addresses. Everyone writes you asking for it and others spam it by putting it everywhere. If you're a fan, you have to do some digging. If you get a success, GREAT! But the moment you throw it around, the chances become very unlikely that it will happen again.

Glad i got mine early. I got mine last year, and deliberately didnt post the address i sent it to.

I see everyone's point.......but the argument is like saying guns kill people. He was still hand signing items sent to other addresses. There could be 1 million reasons he stopped and to think that an over flow of writing to his home address is self aggrandizing.

Some celebs will stop signing if they have a paid signing coming up. The dealer will often tell their client to stop signing through the mail or in person a few months before hand. The Hollywood show probably booked Gene for their april show
