When requesting for an autograph from a tennis player who's a sfx client using the sfx address, does sfx forward the mail to the player or do they actually handle the mail for the player?
Much thanks,
Linda Merli

Hi AkaneLinda
Welcome to Fanmail.biz
Generally SFX handle sports celebs fan mail for them. Most of the successes I have had from them came in a SFX envelope.
On the whole, sports celebs sign a whole bunch of photos in advance which are then sent out by SFX on their behalf.
Hope this helps!

Hi again AkaneLinda
Like thewhitewitch said, you might get lucky especially if you have gone to the trouble of writing a nice letter, so don't give up hope
By the way, I love Singapore {thumb2} I have been there about 5 times and it is one of my favourite places!!! Very hot and humid though every time I've been
Do you live in the City? I usually stay in the Westin Stamford (I think it might have changed names now) opposite Raffles Hotel

I am usually there on business (SICEC Center) but I try to get a few days added on!!!
BTW welcome to the forum

Hee hee that's nice

. Nope I don't live in the central city area though it's not that far from my house. (Singapore is so small!) I can't stand the weather here though, it's a scorching 35 degrees these days, been experiencing heatwave for about a month now.
Thank you for your help and i hope i get the chance to travel around England some time {thumb2}
Btw i've just learnt that you're already working

I thought you're still in your teens.

I have got similar question so I do not want to create a new topic.
I'm going to write a letter to Justine Henin-Hardenne and to Richard Krajicek (both are/were tennis players) via SFX and Richard's Foundation.
How should I write a letter to SFXs etc.? I mean, directly to the player, f.e.: Dear Justine... I'm your fan (or sth like this) or Dear SFX... I'm Jusine's fan etc.
Has it got any sense to enclose a photo to be signed when writting via SFX or Foundation?
Thank you in advance for your answers.
Best regards,
Paul.

Hi Paul
Personally I would write to the person/player. The letter will get passed on if necessary. There is no problem with sending a photo, but I think mostly they will supply their own pictures
