I am wondering if anyone has had real successes with athletes through their team addresses, and if so which athletes, and using what addresses. I am fairly new to collecting, and want to focus primarily on sports figures. Thank you so much for any help you can give.

I have gotten a few through the team address. All are baseball players though, so I don't know if that is what you are looking for.

John Rodriguez / Hector Luna / Yadier Molina / Dave McKay - All sent to Busch Stadium (St. Louis Cardinals)

Chris Widger - Sent to US Cellular Field (Chicago White Sox)

John Mabry - Sent to Wrigley Field (Chicago Cubs)

Woody Williams - Sent to SAFECO Field (San Diego Padres)

Alan Benes - Sent to Auto Zone Park (Memphis Redbirds) (Minor Leagues)

I have sent more requests, but those are the only ones I have gotten back from the team addresses so far.

I've gotten Bob Clarke through the Flyers, John Leclair through the Penguins, attempting to Brian Dawkins through the Eagles, other than that I just use home addresses, c/o team doesn't work as well.
