Award Shows?

So....I know al ot of people from here go to movie premieres to meet celebrities. However, I'm considering going to an awards show. I'll be in NYC this month when Jessica Simpson releases her new CD and that same ime the MTV VMAs are going to be held in NYC. I'm thinking about going to meet the celebrities. Does anyone have experience with award shows? Is it actually worth it???

A lot of times for award shows they have tickets that people can win to be in the bleachers at the red carpet. I would check out the mtv website and see if they are having any givaways, and sometimes radio stations too. I don't think that you can be in the bleachers if you don't have a ticket, and i'm pretty sure you can't buy them either. Good Luck if you try it!!!!!

My friend works for MTV....if I wanna go...I'll get tickets to the bleachers and possibly the show. Not sure yet, though

I also met Kelly Osbourne, Paris Hilton, Blondie, Westlife and loads more.
