Internation reply coupons

please help..there are loads of people i would like to write to in the US but as i live in the UK it's all abit more complicated.
I don't understand how IRC's work. can anyone help me out? do u still need to put a stamp on the sae along with the irc??
please help!

aaah ok. so now i think i get it....
no stamps for a return, just a couple of coupons so they can exchange them for money or something??

Yes, exactly, so they can exchange them for stamps! =)
If you send to US with IRCs, the person you send to will exchange the IRCs for US stamps, which they put on your SAE!
