Hey kevinle123
I know this sounds a bit 'state the obvious' but is their any more Post Offices around where you live? If you go on to the Post Offices' website I'm sure they will have a 'Where to find us' section.
Just a thought...

I find it a bit gross that a post office in the UK can simply say "Well, we don't have any IRC's" although the Royal Mail sells them nationwide.
If a small post office in Germany doesn't have the item you are looking for they simply order it for you and you'll have it within 1-2 days.
I'd say the Royal Mail should invest in customer service trainees.
Best,
Stephan

That's basically what happens when my Post Office run out of IRCs they say "We'll order some more for you- sorry about that!" (except they usually have to wait about a week before new stock comes in)
The Post Office that kevinle123 goes to may only be a small one. The reason for them not having IRCs may be because no- one would buy them (it's true that most people do not know what IRCs are- not even most Post Office workers!

Hope you find some IRCs kevinle123!
Paul

Hi Kevin,kevinle123 wrote:hi! does anyone know if Jodelle Ferland would buy her own canadian stamps if i sent $5 with the letter?
-thanks!
I guess you can send just a SAE and mention that you couldn't get hold of any IRCs in the letter to the celeb. At least it shows that you wanna pay for postage but can't.

Well I think personally that if you include $5 and an SAE, you should get a response. Or at least, the chance for getting a response will be better than with just an SAE. The celebrity may have some stamps on hand, so by including money, it shows them that you are willing to help cover the cost of stamps. But I would advise that if you could, go to your local bank and exchange the currency to Canadian Dollars.kevinle123 wrote:hi! does anyone know if Jodelle Ferland would buy her own canadian stamps if i sent $5 with the letter?

Best,

In the UK small post offices will order them for you if you require, but it is usually easier to go to a larger branch of the Royal Mail. Almost every town/village & city have a post office, but not all will stock IRC's.
