Getting a Michael Jordan basketball card signed

My 10 year old son wants to send an MJ bb card to an MJ address to try and get MJ himself to autograph it. How likely is this to work? I'm trying to be realistic and telling him that it's not likely and that he risks losing his favorite card. Any info on doing something like this? Thanks!

If your son doesn't want to lose his card you might try and send just a pic, or another card because there always is the change of losing something.

Hi dzsmom,
My son was also a big Michael jordan fan, Collected all his cards( most) and absolutely loved him. unfortunately he does not sign authentically thru the mail. I would recommend that he doesn't send anything to MJ counting on an actually signature by him or even getting it back.

If youd like to get a preprint autograph from him, he has been known to send them out from this address, I think he's bound by contract to only sign through upper deck
