k, i recently bought an x men 3 teaser poster at walmart for $2 bucks. it was on sale from sitting there for so long, whereas the date on it was from may when it was gonna be released. there are like one or 2 left. my question is, is there any chance i can get a majority of the cast to sign this ttm, and how much would it be to mail, probabaly a lot, huh? its not rolled up currently, its still in the package, on cardboard backing, approx. 24 inches by 32 or so i'm guessing. which ones would be actually likely to sign authentically? would someone be more likely to sign seeing other sigs on there? and should i ask to have them return it if they cant sign? or maybe just wait until they film x 4 and mail it to the filming location and ask if they can pass it around? (possibly getting like rebecca romijn to sign ahead of time because she died in the last one) it only cost 2 bucks, like i said, so maybe its no big deal, w/o any sigs on it, if i mailed it i'd prolly go buy another one just in case i lost it, because 2 bucks is a really good deal for a poster. I wouldnt send a movie poster i paid a lot for, i'd be scared of not getting it back. any help would be appreciated- thanks!

The main problem with sending something to multiple people to be signed is the chance that it will get lost. For instance, say you send it to the first six people and it comes back signed each time. But then you send it to the seventh, and it never comes back.
It's a big risk that a lot of people would not be willing to take

Shawn Ashmore would definately sign it as he is great with fans. Also Rebecca Romain (I can't remember how to spell it

) and Aaron Stanford. I'm not sure about the others. It's worth a shot if you bought it for $2

But perhaps after a couple of success's maybe hold on to it for a while and then send again

Possibly. . .
Oh well, good luck

I've done something similar to that many times getting Baseball Team pictures signed,55 Dodgers, 40 Reds,44 Giants,44 Cards, 48 Indians etc.
What I did before sending out the pics. I would write each player enclosing a sase asking that if I sent them the pic. would they sign it. I also enclosed an index card with YES. NO. PLease circle. Only after I received confirmation that they would then I would send it.
BUT as Joey stated there is a possibility of it getting lost which happened to my 48 indians pic. I had 11 sigs with Larry Doby being the last one, sent it to him and sure enough it got lost. I actually called Larry Doby to see if he received it or sent it out but he couldn't recall either way due to all the mail he received so I had to purchase another Pic. and start all over again. Luckily after about another month of sending it out I finally got it back.

is it a bad idea to try and send it to the set of x 4 and see what i get back?
and ian mckellen seems to sign, at least VV, not sure about through agency though. i'm aware it's highly unlikely to get anything from hugh jackman or halee berry

That's actually a good idea, since I love the X-Men movies
I'd suggest send to some you can most likely guarantee will send back and then go from there

Okay so I printed the X-Men: The Last Stand poster, it looks awesome on glossy paper... now can someone give me the addresses of the three people who DO sign... and should I include a SAE or SASE with it?

good luck if you give it a shot! ian mckellen does sign if you send it to his address in the database, got mine back today, but im guessing it would cost a ton to send a poster over here to the uk and pay for postage back
