Questin about young stars signing

OK well I had this problem with Dakota Fanning but gave in as I really was blown away by her performance in 'Man On Fire' but do you find it a bit embarrassing requesting an autograph from someone who is younger than yourself. I mean its like asking a young kid in the street to sign a photo.

I'd like to email Skye McCole but am a bit embarrased as I am a lot older than her and if I recieved an autograph from her, I feel like I might look stupid putting it in my collection. I know this is ridiculous but can anyone like, shed light on this?

Hey I know what you mean it might seem a bit weird or embarassing asking for someone whose younger than you for their autograph. But I think you should just do it, I mean its not like your going to get a reply letter saying "No you can't have an autograph, because your to old!" Look, how many people wouldn't give an autograph just because someone is older than them, because that would just be stupid! And anyway I sure your not the only one as she is fairly young and not many people younger than her probably do autograph collecting, so you can be sure your not going to be the only one.

I've never wrote to someone younger than me, as I am only 11, but I'm sure your not the only one sending to celebs much younger than you. I dont know why you would be embarrased, the authentic autos might be worth alot in 10-20 years.

I know what you mean too, about there not being many stars younger than you as I myself am only 13. Even Cole and Dylan Sprousse are older than me!

When I write to a female celeb who's younger then me I don't think anything of it cos I'm just a fan of them and I admire them and stuff but I do feel a bit weird asking for an autograph from a male celeb who's younger then me, so thats why I've only done it once lol (Freddie Highmore).
