Madonna - Fake?

Hi
Was given these by a friend who works in the music industry. Were they a generous gift or is he having a laugh? Both signatures are silghtly different which is what concerned me, then I discovered this site and learnt that a lot of these are faked.
(I'm sorry if the image size is too large, as a newbie I'm not sure how to adjust it.)
Cheers
Dean

Hi there!
Welcome to fanmail.biz
I've got two pre-printed signatures of Madonna myself and they look very similar to your second photo, which I'm assuming is authentic
I'm not too sure about your first scan though.
Sorry I can't be much help but I'm sure someone else would like to contribute and offer their opinions.
Cheers!

Hi sex_is_not_the_enemy,
Thanks for the welcome.
Both signatures are 'real' signatures not preprints. Here's hoping they're real real signatures, if you know what I mean.
Cheers
Dean.

Hi
Sorry I didn't seem to make it clear enough
I was meant to say that the pre-printed signatures which I've got are very similar to the signature on your second photo, except mine do not have the word 'love' on them, that is why I am supposing they are real. So in other words, they would probably be 'real, real signatures'!
However, I am not too sure on your first photo.
Hope that clears things up a bit!

I'm sorry to upset you both, but both signatures have never seen Madonna's hand.
The first one is a really bad fake, it's one of those signatures that you can get off eBay for a few US Dollars.
The second one is very well made and would be authentic if it weren't on a nude photo since Madonna doesn't sign nude photos anymore. If the second photo was signed up until 1993 it may be authentic, but I highly doubt it.
May signature study on Madonna will be released and on sale soon in the US & Canada and I'm sure it will be very helpful to those collectors who don't know a lot about her signature and her graphological traits.
Best,
Stephan

I had my doubts myself obviously. It's interesting about the second autograph. Before I clip my friends ears I'll try to pin him down as to when and where he got them.
He worked as a stylist in London and Australasia during the ninties and had a small boutique with Jenny "Iko Iko" Bellstar.
Cheers

Thank for your comments RSVP, but I believe my PP signatures may possibly be authentic signatures (in the case, it is actually Madonna's signature).
The photos are not nude photos and if you would like, I will post scans of them. Please let me know.

Dear sex_is_not_the_enemy,
I have all Madonna preprints myself that were sent out by ICON (Madonna's own official fan club) when you became a new member.
Some of those preprints were signed by Madonna's PA and manager Caresse Henry and some were signed by Madonna.
Wait for my signature study to be released in the US and Canada and you will get to know more about Madonna's and Caresse's signature.
Best,
Stephan

Thanks RSVP
I'm sure you are more experienced in Madonna's signatures than some of us here!
Thanks again!
