How can you tell the differnce between the two

thought this would be a good topic for first time collectors such as myself

with the WWE you can see the little TM next to the autograph

A preprinted autograph comes out looking identical each time. If you recieve an sutograph and compare it to others, and each one that you compare it to is identical, then you can be almost 100% sure that it is a preprint. If it is authentic, then naturally each autograph will be slightly different. They will be roughly the same, but if you try writing your name several times, then none of them are identical.

Preprints are also sort of inside the photo. If you write on a photo, then the gloss of the photo isn't as glossy on the writing, because the pen covers it, if you see what I mean. In a preprint, if you hold it up to the light, the shine of the photo will go over the pen, making it look like the pen is inside the photo (which it is).

This topic may be able to explain it more clearly :)

Preprints are exactly that, theyre PRINTED autographs

Authentic is when the celeb uses a pen and signs the photo/item
