How much does your average letter cost to send?

For me, I need to buy stamps, envelopes and IRCs. I'd estimate around 6-7 dollars a piece, though I have done over 10 in my 'newbie' days, I think. :) Just curious..

And, since I have no idea what the average send costs for everyone, I doubt my poll answers are ah... adequate, but I tried my best considering the fact that it's 3:30am here ;)

And, has anyone EVER received an autograph TTM from Tim Burton? I sent him 2 of my ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE pictures a month ago, and i'd like to at least get them back, if I can't get them back signed.. :(

Sometimes I use 63 cent stamps, so it ends up costing $1.26 per request. Recently, I have been using 39 cent stamps, because I have a roll of them. So those requests cost $1.56, and I sometimes include a picture.

Hi,

This is Jason.

For me it costs around 0.375 USD. It is so cheap caz I use a 6x4 sized envolope only, with no cardboard.

Thanks.

Hi all,

If I am posting within the UK, it costs me 80p per request ($1.60). - One 2nd class large stamp on sending letter, and one on the SAE.

If I am sending to the USA, it costs me £3.07 ($6.12) per request. - £1.17 ($2.33) on the sending letter, and 2 x £0.95 ($3.79) IRC's with the SAE.

These prices are based on my using an A4 envelope to both send and as an SAE, with no cardboard.

Best wishes

Stuart

But within the Uk its 48p (95c) to send it and 48p to get it back

To Europe its usually 90p ($1.70) to post it and two IRCs ($3.80)
