How long did it take after sending your letter until you got your first autograph? What was your reaction?

I got my first autograph nearly 1 month later. I didn't react much because I was going to have a dental appointment next

Well I looked on the site about 4 months before joining for Dani Harmers address as I’m a huge fan of her, so I requested it and received it so then the day I received it I joined as that was my first autograph but my autographs collecting is bigger now and I’m expanding it.

My first autograph from collecting was Joe Pasquale, back in March 2005.
Before that, I had met the odd celebrity by chance, first being F1 Pundit Murray Walker.

I hid the first autograph I recieved TTM as I thought people would laugh at me for writing to celebrities! My family have always said that there's no point in having an autograph if you've never actually met the celebrity. Back when I first started it was harder to find addresses so I used to just write to TV studios for the small signed fan cards. It would be hard to hide the 9x12 manilla envelopes coming through the letter box now
