This autograph's ink is smeared BAD (what to do)

I have pictures posted below. I sent a request to Lou Hirsch and he must have used a silver sharpie or somehting that was either (a) running out of ink (b) put the autograph in the envelope before it dried (c) or has a defected silver sharpie.

Both pictures are sticky and I am not about to add these to my collections (I keep all my autgraphs in photo albums and print us notes about the person and neat fac ts about them and add them to the page). Due to the stickiness and the fact you can't even read his signature, you can barely see the names TO Rennie and TO Taylor.

Should I just rewrite him and request another autograph for My daughter and I or forget I just about it. Should I let him know that the ink is smudged (it's even smudged inside the envelope he sent in. Or simply forget the whole thing?

The envelope has Airmail on it and says Royal mail but I can't tell where, there is no return address. I am thinking this is an e-mail request because I can't find his name in my log book where I keep all the dates of all my request sent out and when they are sent in.

I'd love your input, so what would you do?
Here is the picture and yes it's big but you needd to see it up close.

THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would try emailing again and explaining the problem with the last pictures. He should understand.

That was a thought but I didn't want to sound greedy. Would it be an overkill if I sent a copy of these pics as an attachment to show what I am talking about?

My Lou Hirsch pic is exactly the same!! It bled in to the picture so looks awful! I wouldn't bother sending another request. He obviously signs all of his autographs in a slb-dab way :(

But he might not know that this is happening, if someone told him he may change what he does so they don't smudge anymore. Its worth a shot.
