Writing to Bands

When writing a letter to a band, how would you write the 'Dear .......' section at the top?
If I was writing to just a person, then it would be 'Dear Person's Name', but with a band, say The Killers for instance, it doesn't seem right to put 'Dear The Killers'. I think it sounds a bit weird. What would you put?

maybe Dear and the band members names?....I don't know because it's rare that i'll write to a band...i usually try to meet them in person when they come to my home town.

i wouldn't put Your biggest fan i'm sure celebrities and bands receive alot of letters saying i'm your biggest fan..anyways that's just me

when i write to bands, i put all their names down. thats what i did when i wrote to fall out boy. i also explained how much i liked them and how i relate to their music. and don't come straight out asking for an autograph.

What about "Dear Sirs"? Politeness and etiquette often go a long way, if writing to a male actor I always address it:
eg: Mr Tom Hanks, Esq.
Or if they have any Queens honours then its etiquette to include that on the envelope.
Choice is yours, whatever works for you.

I agree that the best way would be to list the band members i.e.
Dear Tom, Dick and Harry
I also agree that "from your No.1 Fan" etc is too corny and its better to just put, for example, "Yours sincerely, Debs Morris"

I will third that one!!!!!
I often address letters to the person(s) first name, like "Dear John" rather than Dear Mr Travolta, but that's just a matter of personal choice. I don't think it is rude to do this though!
