Are You Going To Stop Posting The Emails You Used for Succes

(If you're wondering where I originated this topic from, I got it from the two recent e-mail questionings/failures in the Feedback forum, credit to dragon2006)
Are you still going to post the e-mails you used to get a success from? I know I posted a success with the e-mail I used and removed it because now her assistant is wondering where they got the address, as e-mails are flooding in.
And people wonder WHY most celebrities stop signing through e-mail. If you don't know them, don't bother e-mailing.

It's sad, really.
Are you going to stop posting e-mails you used?

I never post the successes I receive through email, which are far and few between because I rarely request through email. I think it would help a lot if people didnt post the word "email" in the subject.

True. Because whether they know the person or not, they jump all over it, while as it's a TTM success, they don't care.

I always just put the person's name in the title of the post and then if they read it and want the address I give it to them.

I say this, do NOT post if you are not going to give out the email address. Whats the point really. I mean you dont get the 10.00 because you didnt post the address, or if you are then i think it is wrong. Basicly keep it to yourself and dont toy with someone who might be a fan thinking that the success might be a good one and the poster would have the compassion to put the email address on. The arguements and banning are the reason i dont post my success although i have well over 75 autos from 2 years of collecting.

well then if they are a true fan then just ask the eprson via pm to please give the address or with some research the email address shouldnt be too hard to find.

Hi,
in the German forum we don't write any email addresses,
if you want one,you have to ask the one who has had the success.
When I entered fanmail.biz I saw that everyone posts the email-addresses so I did ,too.
The moderator of the forums always writes:<<What's the address you used please?>>
But it would be better if you have to ask for the address so only the ones who are interested in the celebrity ask for it.
I think i'll do it like this^^
Yours,
Patrick

yes, but what if you cant find the address and the person wont reply...what do you do? you get frustrated such as I do
like i said dont post the success if you dont want to share the address you got it from. Dont clog up the database like we are doing here discussing this issue!

I do agree that all addresses should be posted however the problem is whenever an email is posted on this site it gets beat to death. You have alot on here who sees an email and they'll jump on it like a monkey on a banana because it will cost them no postage, envelopes, etc. Me personally I have no problem with a member not posting the email address as long as it's stated it was received thru email however if their is a return address on the envelope that should be posted. Like ozzman points out an email is not to hard to find with a little research.
