What do you enjoy?

So what is it about the hobby that you most enjoy doing?
Is it looking for the addresses on this website and deciding who you'll write to?
Is it actually writing and sending the letters?
Is it receiving the envelopes and seeing what you've got?
What is it about this hobby that you enjoy???

Not knowing whether you'll get anything back and you get home and find a package or envelope addressed to you with a autograph in.

I like receiving things in the post.
At the moment, I havn't got anything for about a month, but I still know that theres a chance somethig might turn up.
I look forward to seeing if one of my SASE's has arrived, even if its usally just junkmail instead.

I also have had a s l o w success rate this month!!!
I have sent loads out that already have proved successful for other people and I hope that soon a big red van will turn up and a postman will struggle to my door with a big batch of them!!!

hahahaha.... good luck smudge.
My favourite part is receiving the letters, although this is also the most frustrating part, to open the mailbox and see that there is nothing in there, or there is junk mail is annoying to say the least! On the other hand it is great when you do get a reply.
I have been collecting sports memoribillia for some time and have just started sending out to actors/actresses, singers etc (sent my first letter on July 1st) so I haven't received any replies yet..... fingers crossed though.

My luck has changed!
Today I received 3 replies (Kate Winslet from UK, Sophie Marceau from FRANCE and Kevin Spacey From AUSTRALIA) Woohoo!!!
I also enjoy the experience when I get home from school, walk upstairs and go into my room to see a few envelopes lying on my bed! (as my mum puts them there whenever I get anything!
)
