What celebs will you never write to agian!!!

Hi. I have been thinking about this for a few days now.

It may be that you got a really bad reply, or just never ever heard back after writing to a celeb on a number of occasions.

Here's a few from me.

Patrick Steward (He really DOES not like fanmail) Indeed everywhere he acts, or if anyone gets wind of how to contact him, their mail will likely end up in the trash can. So if anyone gets a reply it is not from him :mad:

Tom Baker. Nothing agianst him as an actor, his superb. But when it comes to answering fanmail his really not the best, if you're very very fortunate, you may get a PP

Billie Piper. Oh dear, same agian, I wrote to her via theatre, and never got a return, you can write to her via her agent, but really all your get is a sec signed photo, or as sometimes a PP.

James Garner. Goodness, how much do I have to spend on postage, to get a reply form him :mad: I thought having spent the money for a whole series of the Rockford Files, he may be moved to send a reply. No way.

leslie phillips. Absolutely forget it.

I wrote to James Garner about 4 years ago and received something back. You should try him again, he is usually great with his fans.

Sorry, the only reason I added Billie Piper, is that she asks for people to write to her agent, I wrote to her via theatre, and never got anything

I dont always write to agents as there may be a higher risk of geting a sec.

And I have sent to James Garner more then once, with the IRC it cost close to £5, and if truth be told I never write more then twice, no way am I begging for an autograph.

However today I must eat some humble pie, after what I said about Patrick Stewart, I recieved a authentic autograph from him today.

And yes it is authenic as it came from the theatre The Gielgud, where his working. {thumb2}

Its not besides the point. You specifically said if you write to her via agent you'll get a secretarial or a preprint, which is untrue. If you have something to base this on, I'd love to see it, as it will stop me trying her again (I've also tried her and failed). But if you're just going on the assumption that "agent = more chance of sec", then please be careful of your wording in future

I have personally found James Garner to be a quick signer through the mail and I have seen many successes from him. Are you sending to the right address?

Thanks. Yes I have sent to the right address twice, but maybe he never recieved it.

Having said that, I have written to the USA before, and always recieved something back.
Maybe Mr Garner was in a bad mood, when I wrote to him.

even if he did'ot, feel like answering me, he could have had the decency to send my IRC back.
All 6 of them, as there was 3 in both letters.
