I don't frame any of my autos. Framing isn't the best thing to preserve them.

I don't frame my autographs. I am never sure if they are positively real or not and it as said is not a good way to preserve them. Also, I am not a HUGE fan of collecting. I do it as an onside hobby. I put much time into it, but I have never felt so strongly to fill my room with frames. I just simply keep my autographs in a binder whether they are authentic, PP, AP, IP, or Secretarial.

I'm with citrusgirl on this one. I like the binder thing better than a room full of bulky frames.
My dad has a couple of his favorite auto's on the wall professionally framed and out of direct sunlight, but still you can tell that the autograph is slightly fading, so he's thinking of taking it down.
I need to get some of those sleeve things though that you can put the picture in and put it in my binder.

I dont frame any signed photos as it damages them. However, assuming I did, I wouldnt be framing anything that wasnt authentic, as I dont keep autos that are not authentic, they go in the bin where there deserve to be in my opinion.

Hmm..
I have..what..2 or 3 in frames and they are all authentic. However, I keep the rest of my autographs in a binder. That way it's easy to flip through and all. And I can show other people.
However. If I WERE to frame some autographs, I would only frame Authentics and IPs.
I am not OVERLY font of PP, AP, or Secretarials, but they still count as a success for me. I do not dispose of them, as at least the person had the courtesy to send SOMETHING.

I have a few in frames that I know are authentic. I don't frame the originals though. I always get photocopies at my local copy shop and frame them instead. I'd never frame a known secratarial or pp. I just throw them away.
I keep all of my original autographs in binders.

I NEVER frame anything. There are too many hazards to the photo's protection when framing in my opinion.

Hi,
when i get items signed on index cards, i photocopy the index card and frame it with a 5x7 pic, that way i can disply it, but also perserve the geuine copy.

I never frame my autographs, they all go in protective sheets into my scrapbooks.
