What have been your highs and lows of the year?

Since it is nearly the end of the year I thought it would be good for us to sum up the good and bad bits of the year (autograph wise)

Highs:
Meeting Helen Mirren.
Meeting Antony Horowitz
Starting to charity collect
Getting many autographs of people I've really wanted
Meeting Kiera Knightley

Lows:
Missing out on Dan Castellaneta

Highs:
- Expanding my collection to include Nobel Laureates.
- Finally obtaining Alan Rickman's autograph.
- Having a 62.5% Success Rate this year.
- Being reminded that mid-season droughts do not last forever.

Lows:
- Not receiving as many autographs as previous years. Then again, I didn't send as many requests this year!

Highs :

Receiving Christian Bale's autograph
Meeting Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie
Meeting George Clooney
Meeting Matt Damon
Meeting Ben & Casey Affleck
Starting my TTM autograph collection this summer (before it was only IP)


Lows :

Missing Tom Cruise in London at the "lions and lambs" premiere because of a problem with my car...
Missing him again, 2 days after in Paris, still for the same problem !
Missing Christian Bale because I didn't know he were in London...
Missing Nicole Kidman, Daniel Caig, Eva Green, Dakota Blue, at "the Golden Compass" Premiere in London because I was working...

Highs
Meeting 6 WWE superstars
Getting Amanda Bynes' autograph!
Getting most of my requests back
Seeing where most of my favorite movies/shows were filmed in Universal Studios(does that count?)

Low
Dry Spells

Highs:
- Meeting Jonny Wilkinson.
- Receiving a personalised autograph from Daniel Craig!
- Receiving a lovely signed and personalised photo from "Stardust" actor Charlie Cox!
- Finally getting autographs from Shia LaBeouf, Wentworth Miller, Jean Reno and Chris Evans.

Lows:
- Still waiting for Audrey Tautou...

I wish i had got in to this "hobby" before luciano pavarotti passed away.

--Getting Chris Evans' autograph TTM after less than 2 months
--Getting Lance Bass' autograph VV after only 3 weeks
--Getting autographs from Jordin Sparks, Blake Lewis, and Melinda Doolittle

Lows
--Dry spells that lasted anywhere from several weeks to over two months
--Missing the meet and greet at the "American Idol" tour this summer

Highs
-Recieved my 1st authentic this year
-Progressed in my collection
-Interest in collecting grew
-Got tickets to Jonas Brothers

Low
-Unsuccessful preprints and/or failures
-No reply from certain celebrities
-Long waits and autograph drought
-Never got tickets to Hannah Montana
