Pen Pals?

has anyone ever heard of almost being pen pals with a celebrity? Not a BIG named Celebrity. Like writing them after you got an autograph and them writing you back again and so on and so forth?

I was penpal with a local author. It started when I was assigned a book project in school to write an author.

Actually I talk to Diandra Newlin via IM. It is really fun cause she's so sweet. I added her and I said hi to her when she first signed on and then we just started a con. I was actually a bit suprised she trusted me lol. But it's really fun talking to her.
