hello, i'm new to the autograph scene. i was wondering what, if any, celebs send autographed photos via email request? thanks for the help

Some celebrities do send autographs if you email them, but as a rule on Fanmail we do not give out email as we do not want to cause the celebrity to get spammed. Sometimes it will say in the previous feedback received if people have received their autographs with a letter of an email, so that i the best way to find out

Email addresses are more likely to get abused than snail mail addresses.

I've obtained email addresses for the Mythbusters, George Bush, David Cameron, Johnny Depp, David Beckham, etc, by trawling through the Feedback forum. Give that a shot, but you won't find many. I think fanmail.biz should have a hidden forum with celeb email addresses, that only becomes visible to you once you've reached 500 posts or something. Therefore eliminating chancers. I've seen something similar on another forum hosted by phpBB boards as well.

That would increase the level of spam on the site, as people would like to see the forum. It wa agreed unanimously that email would not be published.

Addresses are much less likely to get spammed, because it costs money to send a letter, and takes a lot more time to send a letter than it does to write a quick email.

It takes two clicks and 5 seconds to type and make a new email address if they got abused, some addresses listed are these peoples' HOME addresses. It also takes two clicks to click "select all" and "delete" in an email inbox, yet people can show up to their house

I too agree that home addresses should not be listed on this site. However, posting a list of celebrity email addresses isn't going to help matters any.

Honestly, how many newbies are going to stick around until their 500th post!? In a case where spam occurs, admin can easily block the user from fanmail.biz. Although my main means of collecting is through snail mail, email is very convenient for people like me who are not earning a salary at this point. As well as the fact that a lot of snail mail addresses are duds which waste a lot of money.
