As the topic says...should I even bother sending auto requests from celebs who have no feedback success or feedback at all in the forum?

Hello lithium! ;-)

This is a tough decision I regulary have to make too. :roll:

Here's what I think:
- If the person is a relatively new star, then I would definitly give it a shot as they will most likely sign. I did it with Charlie Cox ("Stardust") and I got a reply from him within 4 weeks. There was no feedback received for him in the database so I was the first to post feedback. :D I always tell myself that someone has to test the address, otherwise you will never know! :lol:

- If the person is someone very famous like Brad Pitt, I would rather try him via venue and safe my stamps and postage money. {thumb2} So no, I will never (except if one day, magically everyone starts to receive feedback from him! :lol: ) write to him via his agents/manager's address in the database as it's obivious he doesn't reply.

Good luck, lithium!! :razz:

Regards,
Lizanne

I've done this several times! I wanted to send a letter to Actor Sean Faris, So I got on here and I saw that people were sending letters to him, but none had gotten a response, So I went ahead and sent my letter anyway, and in a couple of weeks I received a very cool 8x10 photo from him that was personlized and signed! :o So yeah, Just gotta jump in and take a risk sometimes! :D {thumb2}

If there's no feedback, it could be becuase no-ones written to the person, or because people just havn't bothered to post their sucesses.

You just have to do reasearch and filter out the ones that for sure will not sign TTM.
Not everyone who collects TTM post on fanmail.

That and not everyone posts their success on this website. I personally don't.

I think it is sometimes good to send to "untested" addresses, I've gotten some of my best successes from those "untested" addresses.

(I say "untested" because someone has probably written to it before, we just don't know if they have or not)

I was the first to get an autograph from "Zach Thomas" (football player). So yeah, give it a shot.

well it depends like someone said if their new or not so known then yes but if their a big star with no feedback then no. ive had no luck with un-tested adresseses before( i tried miley and Juliane hough vv one time what a waste of stamps :roll: ). anyway whatever desision you decide to make good luck with all your requests.
