Interesting Arsenal fc news

I recently emailed Arsenal asking why some supporters who send official photo's get pp's back and why other's get authentic's and here is the reply i got

Thank you for your email to Arsenal Football Club.

The Club is inundated with requests for the signatures of our players
and coaching staff, including many letters from charities, fund-raising
organisations and supporters that are seriously ill or who have had
serious accidents. We endeavor to provide every correspondent with what
they require but due to the vast number of requests, unfortunately we
have to limit each item to one per person with a three season gap.

Our records showed that you had previously had a photo signed;
therefore, this was the reason that you were unsuccessful in obtaining another
autograph with in the specified time.

We trust that you understand the Club’s difficult position, and will
accept our sincere apologies that we were unable to assist you with
your request.

this really has shocked me, i mean i have to wait 3 more season's just to get fabregas's autograph, it's just completly wrong {down}
I just wanted to post this to allfootball fan's, if i have posted this in the wrong section then feel free to move it.

I'm sure I haven't written to any Arsenal players before and the other day I got a failure letter from them on my first ever request to them... :?

Perhaps it is because I didn't include a official photo...

Thanks for the info! {thumb2}

"One autograph per person with a 3 season gap"? :shock: :shock:

Arsenal must just want to reclaim their position as "Worst English club for fanmail". This is both shocking and - when compared to other clubs - disgusting. Maybe thats too strong a word, I can't think of an alternative at the moment. Maybe laughable would be a better choice of word.

yes it is absolutely stupid, i was stunned while reading the email that lynne chaney sent me, i have emailed her back suggesting if there is a better way of of sending people autograph's instead of having to wait 3 year's :neutral:

I disagree. At least some of the players reply some of the time. To me, thats better than "one auto per address for 3 seasons".

:shock:
Do they personalize?
If they don't, why don't you send it in a different name and see what happens?

I'm not into football, but that is a bit stupid.

yes most Arsenal player's personalise the photo's, i'm considering using one of my relative's addresses to get fabregas
also received another reply from lynne chaney bascially repeating herself :roll:
Due to the being inundated with players autographs request every season it was fairer to agree to one autograph every three seasons.

it can't work out how the hell this is fair, i was tempted to say how well man united and tottenham player's sign but then i thought i would never get a success from arsenal
