Does anyone know a site that lists Broadway shows that are closing soon. I know that Broadway.com used to list this but I don't see it anymore. Is their anyway to find this out?

Thanks

Hi danny2010!

Broadway.com still does tell you when shows are closing. Some show are signed on for a large period so they don't know when but some shows do close quick, depends which you're looking for.

I know those are there, but they used to have a list on the side of the See All Shows page.

Broadwayworld.com is another great resource for that. They also give somewhat an expectation for upcoming shows & their arrival on The Great White Way.

And the majority of shows announce about two-three months ahead of closing. Curtains announced in March that it would closing in June. However, there are some exceptions. When the Woman in White open in Nov. '05, the show was doing only decent and with all the sicknesses within the cast, after announcing that the star would be leaving for 6 weeks would close ONE WEEK later (Feb. 19, '06 is when it closed). Some shows, such as RENT did, announce about 5 months.

However, there are plenty of 'safe shows' on Broadway right now that will be open until atleast Decemeber/Holiday Season '08, unless another strike or unintentional event should happen to the show. Some of these are: WICKED, Jersey Boys, and South Pacific (unless the Lincoln Center decides to close it).
