Welcome to the forum... and welcome to autograph collecting, it's certainly a great hobby, also you've came across a great forum. Anything you need to know you can ask on the forum and we will try and help you with it.

Well said!!!! I have been "harping on" about always sending SASE's for months now. But it really does make a difference.

You will still get some autos back without one, but you will get LOTS if you use one!

Incidentally, if you are writing abroad you should enclose a self-addressed reply envelope and a couple of IRC's. IRC's are International Reply Coupons and you can get these from most post offices.

You just need to include a couple of these with your letters and the overseas celebs can exchange them for stamps!

I try to use at least A4 (9x12) envelopes as this will cover all eventualities. A lot of celebs send out 10x8" pictures which will need the larger envelope.

I would suggest investing in some 9x12's (you can fold them to fit in your main envelope when you mail them out).

Failing that you could still use your 9x6's but you would have to rely on the celeb supplying their own envelope of they only have 10x8 pics!
