Picture Question

I am not sure if this belongs in this section. Okay, Let's say your signed picture comes in the mail. You open it and found that it has been torn up a little. what do you do about that? Do you tape it up or can you ask for another one explaining what happened or what should I do? I never had anything like this before because I received a signed pic last week and the picture is nice and all but it ended up torn a little when I received it and I dislike torn pictures. Even if its a little torn. So kinda debating what I can do. Not sure if its okay to ask for another one, etc. Feel kind of silly asking, but not sure what I can do. Any help would be great and thanks. Kim :)

If its a little tear, then it doesnt bother me. I had one come with and entire corner torn off and have not re-written. If it was massively torn though, like a big tear through the middle, I'd write again explaining. Otherwise I'd just leave it. I dont tape up small tears either by the way.

If its just a small tear hold on to it and store it correctly so as not to make it any worse. If it bothers you ask for another but I don't think it should, its the autograph that is important right?

I would recomend taping it together... you could make things worse...

Yeah, tears in pictures don't bother me a bit. I mean, usually the tears are mostly because of me. If it were ripped where the signature was, that would bother me and force me to probably resend.

Hahahahahaha I am the best person in the world to answer this question! Until I got an external mail box, my dog used to chew my mail up so bad.

I've framed some to "flatten" the teeth marks, I've cut the torn parts off of some, put some between book ends for a week to flatten out creases.....you name it, I've done it to save an autograph
