Can a faded signature be restored?

Unread post by moviemonstermuseum »

Does anyone know if a faded signature on a signed photo can be restored? Perhaps a chemical can bring out the signature?
This is a great Bela Lugosi signed on a Dracula photo but it is faded

No, I really don't think there would be a good way to do it. And I'd say trying to would severely damage the photo itself.

That is pretty inexpensive for a Lugosi, isn't it? Maybe the faded signature is the cause for that.
I'm also a portrait artist!
