Christopher Eccleston Success

Sent, letter, photo, and SASE on October 13, 2011 to Independent Talent address in the database.

Received signed photo in SASE on November 1, 2011.

What do you guys think about authenticity? A quick Google Image search of "christopher eccleston autograph" looks pretty promising, but I'm interested to hear your take.

Well done on your success. I wrote to Chris a few years back and I got everything sent back to me unsigned with a printed card. I may try again now :)

The squiggly Christopher looks almost the same as the ones I have from a few years ago, but the surname looks quite different to the only one I have on which he's written his surname, on which he did another squiggle for that bit, which makes me very slightly suspicious about it - but don't have anything other than a gut feeling to go on, I'd certainly give it and the others posted recently the benefit of the doubt until a recent IP comes along to compare it with. Anybody have one?

I thought about that when I first opened it, but I've since done some research and found this, which has a squiggle for the surname and the same handwriting in the dedication. And here's an IP one with what looks like a more rushed version of the same "The Doctor!" mine has...I'm currently leaning towards real, but certainly open to more evidence either way. :)
