what if i cant get IRC?

then what? i cant order online (long story) ive heard of people putting a couple dollars inside the envelope to the person theyre sending to but what about the outside of the envelope your sending? when all is said and done and its sealed ready to send you cant put regular U.S. stamps on there itd be blank what do i do??? please someone explain in detail what i do thanks so much. :/

You can send cash to them and a self addressed envelope. for the mailing envelope, you'll need to take that to the post office to mail out. they have stamps their that can be used for mailing to the UK or any foreign countries. It typically costs around .98 cents to mail to the UK if it's a small envelope. bigger envelopes like 9x12's will cost around $4.00 depeding on the country.

thxs and the stamps the postal place would use those are called foreign steamps? i know dumb question lol thxs once again how many dollars you recommend i put in my envelope? (im sending regular size white envelope)


also how could i include in my lor what the dollars are for???

The stamps they'll use to mail it out at the post office will say '98' and will have a small airplane icon in the corner, which means it will be going air mail to get to the UK.

Around $3.00 is good for return postage as the exachange rate is a bit higher coming from the UK to the USA.

I just tell them that I'm unable to get IRC's in my area and that I've enclosed a couple dollars to help cover the cost of return postage. Done this many times and have gotten many successes back & sometimes with a note thanking me for enclosing the cash for return postage.
