I've had a pretty killer day...

I had a success from former MLB player Bobby Bonilla and he signed both of my cards, so I thought that was going to be the high point of my week, autograph wise. But, then I got a DM on Twitter telling me I had won a contest I entered, held by the Redskins official twitter account. My prize? A football signed by the team! Some of you may (shadow definitely) know I am a HUGE Redskins fan, so I am very excited about this. I'll be waiting eagerly for it to arrive and will post pics as soon as I get it!

Great successes from everyone else lately too, as I catch up. My work schedule is finally back to normal and my life has finally slowed down enough to get back into the swing of things here. I still have a ton of stuff pending from during the season, so I'm really hoping that I start seeing some of those come back now that the season is over (for most.) I may start hitting some home addresses soon, getting an early start on that. Plus there are a few that I need to resend to. Just have to get another ink cartrige for my photo printer and I'll be good to go. I'll be sure to post a few addresses in the next several days to help out, since I've been gone for a while. Great to be back now.

However I have not seen any signatures of his posted up TTM since I sent off for him.

Once the season is over, is it pointless to send to current players c/o their respective teams? Or do the teams forward mail to players throughout the year?

Good question. No, it's not pointless as the teams engage in various off-season activities and workouts, but expect random response times if you do so. Many teams do forward on, but off the top of my head- I can't remember which ones.... After the SuperBowl, it's probably best to contact them via their home addresses as many players are spending time with their families in the off-season.

hey just an update on my most recent success. about 2 weeks ago i sent a letter to Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak, yesterday i received a signed 8x10 photo through the mail. pretty nice one. I also got a signed Tony Dungy 8x10 ttm after i sent an email about 1.5 month ago. both phenomenal coaches, great success.

Today I received my Damian Williams rookie card back, signed. It was postmarked from Cincinnati and, while it looks pretty similar to other examples of his signature...I'm still unsure whether or not it's authentic. What do you guys think?

Does anyone know if these players sign during the playoffs or the off season?
Do they sign through their teams?
