Johnny Depp success

Johnny Depp is one of my favourite actors so I was very happy with this even though it is most likely an auto pen.

Sent: 23rd August 2011; LOR and SAE (as I did not have any US stamps at the time)
Received: End of December 2011; signed photo in my envelope, he paid for postage.

Last summer, I got my picture back signed but I think it was autopenned as well. But mine had black text and no'best wishes' ... Do they use different autopens?
