Starzgirl93 wrote:Your friend doing that probably ruined him from ever comming over and signing for anyone ever again at Kimmel. I am glad now I wasnt there that day. No fan is entitled to a photo, and just cause he is busy doesnt give a person the right to insult them.

Now I know who not to stand by for autographs, since you said she also booed james franco.
Lucky for those there he came over though.
I still agree with what i said in this post!

Maybe they just caught Darius on a bad day or the booing/you suck ruined it for everyone.

My Darius experience was a much more pleasant one. At a KC Chiefs game (Nov. 2010), he was going to sing the National Anthem and before the game I was standing in row one right where the players come out. I'm a big Hootie & the Blowfish fan and he pops up the stairs and onto the field 5 feet away from me and I instantly yell out, "HOOTIE!" Instantly I regretted it thinking, "Oh, you idiot, his name is Darius, he's going to hate you now!" But to my amazement, he graciously came over and talked to my wife and I for a minute. We told him about a concert of his we had been to and he asked if we had a good time. He then signed my Chiefs hat for me(sadly it was the only thing I had on me at the time). I have seen in interviews where he said he doesn't like the Hootie thing, my only guess is he could tell how excited I was to see him.

In the end people are people. Sometimes you're going to catch them on a bad day, sometimes they'll be in a great mood and no matter what you say, they'll be happy to meet you. You just never know...but if all experiences were great ones, then I guess the successes wouldn't seem so special.
