Celebrities who charge for Autographs !!
Can my fellow collectors name the celebrities who charge money for their autographs and how much. It would be a interesting topic of discussion.
Thanks,

Britney Spears==>> 6 #1 albums. 2 diamond albums. 8 platinum albums. 400+ awards. 200M+ records sold. Britney has sold over 45 million records this decade despite only releasing three albums. Globally, Britney has more #1 singles than any other female artist except Madonna and Rihanna. "Oops!...I Did It Again" by Britney is the 5th best selling album of the 2000s decade worldwide. Britney is the only female artist to chart her first seven albums in the top two of the Billboard 200. Britney has achieved at least one #1 album in 3 different decades (90's, 00's, 10's). Britney is the first solo female artist from the 90's to reach 1 billion Spotify streams. Despite NOT even being a single, 'Tom's Diner', ft. Britney , has become Giorgio Moroders best-selling digital track. 2015 Billboard Awards ratings reached a 14-year high, with numbers peaking during Britney's performance. She IS the princess of Pop. Bow Down! #StayMadHaters

Even Tippi Hedren charges per autograph. I think it is 20-25 $

Re: Celebrities who charge for Autographs !!
I really don't have a problem with it. As a culture, there is an expectation that we should get free autographs, but it's really not an entitlement. When I pay $8 for a movie, that entitles me to a movie, not to make demands on someone's time and money.
Celebrities may be able to live comfortably, but that doesn't mean they are required or have the means to provide free autographs to people. To those '50s and '60s TV stars who had one major hit and got no residuals or merchandising deals in their contracts, selling autographs is a good way to supplement income.
And, of course, no one is obligated to purchase an autograph if they don't want to pay.
Back to the topic -
Those who charge generally charge around $20-30 depending on who they are. There are a large # of celebrity websites out there where the star hawks their own autograph. For example, Larry Hagman charges $30 on his site.
Some celebrities may charge online but could still send free autographs if you send a request through the mail.

Words worth I agree with every word you have written. But some years ago it was unheard of celebrities demanding money. But times have changed and some celebrities as you say from the 50s and 60s did not make as much money as today Julia Roberts or Angelina Jolie make- which runs into millions of dollars.

Re: Celebrities who charge for Autographs !!
I don't mind at all paying a celeb for their autograph. I include $20-$25 checks in some of my requests. I hope that at the minimum it lets them realize I'm not trying to get their sig just to turn around and sell it on eBay. But I think $45 is just too much, especially for a b- or c-list celeb like Elvira. I realize she's probably not making much anymore because nobody wants to see their grandmother dressed up like a sexy vampire, but it's one of those economic things where she could sell 1000 pictures at $25 or 10 pictures at $45.
