Hi all,
I just bought this on eBay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/280828843581
It definitely seems "too good to be true." It's almost the entire cast, signed, for $72. I bought it, but I can return it if bogus. I investigated the signatures and they all look spot on. I think it's a "plus" that it is all in different color inks. And I couldn't find any similar picture with those signatures anywhere. When I get it, I will examine it to see if it is signed or a "pre-print."
Any thoughts?

Re: LOST cast signed poster
Yeah, I don't know much about LOST signatures, but seeing all the different colors it's in, would have been a good clue not to buy it. Plus since it went for that cheap, is another indication it's probably not real. I don't trust Ebay when it comes to buying autographs. 95% of what's on there is fakes.

Re: LOST cast signed poster
Thanks for the input. I just compared a couple of the signatures in detail, and the Yunjin Kim looked absolutely nothing like any other sample on the internet (the way she upstrokes the Ys), and Jorge Garcia looked nothing like it either. I emailed the seller asking them to cancel it. If they refuse, I'll just open a claim.
Re: LOST cast signed poster
Yeah, besides all the different colors it's in, the seller also claims to have received all those signatures by sending the picture to the Lost set, but Matthew Fox has never ever signed authentically through the mail. There's no way he would have signed this. The same thing goes for Josh Holloway, Emilie de Ravin and Naveen Andrews. They all stopped replying to fanmail via the Lost address very early on (season 1) in the show's run.

Yes I did! I opened the PayPal dispute before the seller shipped the item. In the dispute, I focused on Yunkin Kim and Jorge Garcia, and showed how the two on the fake picture were completely different compared to every known example, and even linked to this thread with "expert opinion" saying that it is very unlikely that someone sent a photo to the show and the ENTIRE cast happened to sign it.vivalakayla wrote:Any update? The same seller continues to sell completely fake stuff on eBay, getting good feedback from clueless individuals. Man, that is a lucrative business, it costs him dollars per photo shipped, and he's making $75-$100 per photo. You can see the attraction to it!
