@ 'chelle

Some might be jealous because they didn't get anything AT ALL ;)
I'd prefer an AP than nothing!

I think it is great that you are happy with your success. Personally I do not get the excitement over an AP. Main reason is that it was never touched by the celeb and second that it had absolutely no value. Maybe someone could clarify the reason that this would be a success in anyway to me? Not being mean/jealous just curious.

No one would be jealous.... An AP is basically equal to gettin nothing back. Whether you get an AP or nothing back at all, you still failed to get an authentic autograph which is the reason we're in this hobby

??. Thank you all for your comments. I say simply: as long as I do not have the original autographs of Johnny Depp, let it be AP. I was not inconvenienced by it. Therefore, as said above, the AP is better than nothing. I do not feel the wild delight of the AP. That's it.
Most Wanted: Tom Cruise, Michael Keaton, Nicole Kidman, Alec Baldwin, Daniel Craig, Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li
My best autograph: Russell Crowe, Michael Madsen, Val Kilmer, Jaromir Jagr, Kirk Douglas, Colin Farrell, Jean-Claude Van Damme

Well, if you all would not be happy with an AP I may understand it. But personally, I think it's better than nothing. That's it, everybody has the right to get a different opinion but we are not talking about your collection or mine here, it's Skyline069's ;) and if this person is happy to have sth back, so be it.

Ps: I did not mean you were all jealous, but some may be. Don't know if you saw what was written on some posts concerning Taylor Swift for example  .

I totally agree with you. It's an AP. Johnny would indeed have many fans, and it'll be nearly impossible to respond and sign everything they request. An AP is still something. He paid for those, and it's like a gift to his fans. We should be thankful. And at least it is something. Some wait years to receive nothing. Johnny is a awesome actor and is amazing to his fans. Maybe you should try him VV, but should he not respond, it's really got nothing to do with you. He's really busy, and as fans, we should respect that.
Successes: Gwyneth Paltrow, Rupert Grint, Channing Tatum, Foster The People, etc.
Most wanted: Zac Efron, Criminal Minds cast, Paget Brewster, etc.
Waiting for: Too many to be counted :P

You can't be thankful for being sent something that is deceptive and misleading. It's pretty obvious that Johnny can't sign for all his fans, so the better and more honest thing to do would be to send out an un-signed photo and refusal note explaining why he can't fulfill the request. That, would be something to be thankful for, not a false signature which fools many people.

Thankful for.a fake signature... That's some sort of bad joke right?
