25% success rate is awesome, for the amount that you sent out so far. Considering the time frame that you started, it's amazing. One question though: how did you write so many letters (without running out of things to say :razz:)?

I typed an initial template letter, explaining why I am writing and who my friend is, that can be modified as needed to fit each person I write to. On the rare occasion that I run out of things to say, I do some research on Google.

1. Rebecca Black (Her "Friday" music video was the voted the #1 online video of 2011 by YouTube): Via private address, came in 16 days! Returned two 4x6 color photos signed, as well as a 3x5 index card signed and personalized to my friend! I got the address from Mike at The Autograph Network.
1. Henry Winkler (The Fonz from "Happy Days"): Came in 22 days! Returned two 4x6 color photos, only one of which is signed and personalized (as always, to my friend!) and also included an autographed bookmark that promotes a book series he is writing. Considering that he has dyslexia, his personalization on the one photo -- "[My friend's name] is lovely!" -- is worth that of ten photos.

1. Rebecca Black (Her "Friday" music video was the voted the #1 online video of 2011 by YouTube): Via private address, came in 16 days! Returned two 4x6 color photos signed, as well as a 3x5 index card signed and personalized to my friend! I got the address from Mike at The Autograph Network.
1. Henry Winkler (The Fonz from "Happy Days"): Came in 22 days! Returned two 4x6 color photos, only one of which is signed and personalized (as always, to my friend!) and also included an autographed bookmark that promotes a book series he is writing. Considering that he has dyslexia, his personalization on the one photo -- "[My friend's name] is lovely!" -- is worth that of ten photos.
So again, this brings the total of successes for Project Birthday Present to 42!
